Dilapidated Character.....

Reasons never been so small for anything in life till date.Guilt never been so high to hide something from those who we love the most (parents).Wonder are we so far much gone in the flow that even once ,the question "why" not creeping through our mind  .

I remember a guy ,a very good friend of mine had the first fag of cigarette when we were returning from wayanad
and the only reason was to look "different" ( in college Tech-terms look cool), and yeah we were astonised with glowing eyes gave it a try ( though a voice echoed inside ,the voice which always clarified the different between wrong and right but i faked as if i heard nothing). That was the beginning ,next i had an encounter with a guy from a very famous school and all filled with superiority and boastings and drunk once said "Saurav enjoy with us don't be a kid be a man", as a writer i should say that i told him that he was wrong and lacked character but i found his words rather interesting and he was the first who made me drink alcohol the first time. But I must say if it had tasted somewhere near soft drinks or something drinkable  i would have being a passionate drunk by now.

I had a friend who taught me chemistry in first yr and heard from other friends that he was a "class" of physics at kota. Now i see him ,"a year back" (not coz he failed but coz he bunked all classes). He and many others guided by so called "DRUG MENTORS" who think it is their responsibility to exemplify that how much cool smoking and drinking is,to show how much it makes them "MAN", "SUPERIOR ". And those inquisitive minds gets tarnished by those drug mentors who themselves had nothing to lose.

But sometimes I wonder if being drunk and smoking makes u so MAN then " Why YOU AFRAID OF BEING CAUGHT BY UR PARENTS). Is your mentor more wise , knowledgeable and well wisher than your own parents ?

I have asked every other dunk in my college "why",and their reasons were so trifling like "just to join friends, to enjoy, coz its cool, coz this is what we do in college as we are grownups ( as if parents are still kids).

  1. the definition of coolness and the so called "traits of man" have actually degraded the morals of a student these days. the essence of somebody's masculinity lies in the strength of saying no to drugs and alcohol rather then provoking others to join this death parade. nevertheless a nice article. keep it up :)
